About
Finally gave in after having the idea in mind for a few years and i’m starting to get equally excited and apprehensive. I’m going to try and cycle from Prudhoe bay in Alaska, a couple of hundred miles north of the Arctic circle to Ushuaia in Argentina. About 18,000 miles, at least a years cycling. I’m going to carry everything I need and my home will mostly be a tent or hammock. I’m not entirely sure why I think this is a good idea but i’m intrigued to see all that lies between and the people i’ll meet on the way. I’m also looking forward to getting a bit of exercise and the fresh air I haven’t had much of living in the city for the last ten years. I’ll try and document events and my thoughts so if you’re interested then I hope I can entertain!

Really looking forward to hearing the updates buddy 😉 – you’re almost on your way!

Hey Buddy! We met at Burning Man in the midnight poutine line and shared some laughs, a bit of whiskey and the Finnish delicatesse Jallu (Jaloviina). I was going through my BM notes and remembered this, This Trucker’s Atlas which is from a Sun Kil Moon song. I’ll check out the album that you recommended.
I truly hope you have an amazing ride, enjoy every moment of it. Stay safe. Let me know if you ever come to Dublin/London/Helsinki (Finland).

Anssi, awesome surprise to hear from you and I’m loving that you got the sun kil moon reference. So you should definitely check out tiny cities which is a record full of modest mouse covers and if you like it then ghosts of the great highway is a personal favourite. Hope your all recovered from burning man, I think I’m just about there but it took a while. Hey hope Dublin treats you well and il, sure let you know when my bike takes me nearer that way.
